3D Printing Stewy

Here are the settings  I use for 3D Printing Stewy. I use Orca slicer with the default settings other than the ones I've listed below.

I encourage you to play around with these settings and material choices to find ways for improving Stewy. If you do print your own please let me know in the forum here!

Top Plate

Slicer Settings:​

  • Add a pause for inserting the 6 ball bearings mid print.  This should be on layer 22 when using a .2 mm layer height.

  • Material: PETG

  • Layer height: 0.2 mm​

  • 0.4 mm Nozzle

  • Material: PETG

  • Wall Loops: 3

  • Infill Density: 20%

  • Do not enable support

  • Brim type: Outer brim only

  • Brim Width: 3 mm

  • brim-object gap: 0 mm

  • ​Elephant Foot Compensation: 0

Arms

Slicer Settings:​

  • Add a pause for inserting the servo horns mid print.  This should be on layer 22 when using a .2 mm layer height.

  • Material: PLA

  • Layer height: 0.2 mm​

  • 0.4 mm Nozzle

  • ​Elephant Foot Compensation: 0

  • Wall Loops: 3

  • Infill Density: 20%

  • Enable support

  • Use support painting to remove supports from the faces as shown in the image in this section

  • Support on build plate only

  • Brim type: Outer brim only

  • Brim Width: 3 mm

  • brim-object gap: 0 mm

  • 3 right arms (mirror of left arm)

Distance Sensor Stops and Standoff

  • Infill Density: 20%
